A very kind person has gifted this community a paid account for the next 12 months. I'm exploring what features that might unlock for us. It seems like we will have extended search ability, so maybe an old-fashioned comment meme is in our future!

As a side note: ficwip is a volunteer operation run by one person with the help of some friends on discord, and we have no expenses to cover! Don't worry. I won't really be making any regular announcements, but since we've just opened and I've apparently forgotten a thing or two. I just wanted to make a quick little post about things.

First, welcome everyone! It really makes me happy to see so many people excited and interested in this little challenge. It had been on my mind of a while, but only finally got my butt in gear to get to setting it up. Remember, this is supposed to be low pressure and low stress so work on things at your own pace. I will never delete a claim unless you've completed it, I noticed your journal was deleted or you tell me to.

1. We now have an AO3 collection! You don't have to add your works to the collection if you don't want to. But if you do it's here. A link will be added to the sidebar.

2. I was asked about whether or not enemy ships and selfcest is allowed. Yes, they are.

3. I was talking to a friend and realized, some times we aren't comfortable with certain characters or there may not be enough characters or 10 might still feel a bit overwhelming! So I've added a build your own table for 5 prompts.

4. Lastly, we have another new table. Table #11 was suggested by

sweetsorcery. Includes Fever, Loyalty, Lesson, Revenge, Possessiveness, Honour, Sacrifice, Comfort, Ice and Jungle.
